Fetch XML

Checking the results of fetch XML before using it in plugins or custom workflows is difficult. With the help of this feature, we can check the results of fetch at the time of development itself. This reduces the errors after development.

Web Resource Editor

Editing and updating of web resources in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is tedious and it often leads the developers to end up in navigating to different pages . This feature makes your life easier by finding the web resources on the form, edit them and update them without any navigation. The only thing needed to do after the update is refresh the form.

Record Details

Getting GUID and record information like schema name of entity in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is now made simple. Record details feature provides the GUID of record along with the schema name, entity type code, user id, and user roles.

Schema Names

Frequently, Microsoft Dynamics 365 developers are often required to know the schema names of the attributes present on the form to perform the customizations. Schema names in Dev Helpmate provides the list of all schema names along with the display names in the right pane of the display which clears the uncertainty regarding the schema names of attributes.

Option Sets

Often when dealing with the customizations of option sets, it is essential to know the values and text of the options in the option set attribute. Option sets feature gets the list of all the option sets attributes that are present on the form and displays them along with their values and texts.

Plugins feature simplifies the process of finding all the plugins registered on an entity. It reduces the effort of finding each plugin step and provides all of its details including the content of un-secured config related to that step.

Open Record By ID

The process of opening a record when only the GUID of record is known is a bit complex. Dynamics Dev Helpmate offers a feature named Open Record by Id using which we can open any record just by entering its GUID.

Find Field

Finding a field on a form which is messed up with too many fields is cumbersome in Microsoft Dynamics 365. This feature helps us to locate the field on the form.

Unlock Fields

Every now and then we get a requirement where we have to update a locked field without making any changes to the field properties. Unlock fields helps in updating a locked field by enabling all the disabled fields on the form in Microsoft Dynamics 365. This feature works only for custom locked fields.

Hidden Fields

Hidden fields on the form are not visible to the end user. Usually, Microsoft Dynamics 365 developers might end up with the necessity to know the properties of the hidden fields like their field names, values etc. This feature highlights the hidden fields on the form of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Dirty Fields

Microsoft Dynamics 365 developers often face the requirement to identify the fields which are modified before saving the form during the customizations. This feature will reduce the effort of finding the dirty fields, by highlighting them on the form itself.

Related Record Count

In Microsoft Dynamics 365, generally fetch XML is used for finding the number of records that are related to a particular record of an entity. Related Record Count feature brings you the ability to get the count of related records at your fingertips.

Form Type

Knowing the type of the form in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is now made easier with this feature. A single click will give you the type of the form that you are working on.
